Role Overview

The Loader is responsible for safely operating equipment for the handling and production of packaged gas cylinders, both for high pressure and liquefied gasses. The role involves loading and unloading gas cylinders and/or other products onto and off of route trucks and trailers, sorting empty cylinders by type, and rolling cylinders and operating a forklift truck for the movement of cylinders on pallets.

What You Will Do

The Loader will perform basic cylinder maintenance, inspect cylinders prior to filling, and manage paperwork to DOT, FDA, OSHA, and Airgas standards. They will also fill cylinders by pressure and weight, per regulations and standards, and check for cylinder quantities, styles, and product.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to safely operate a forklift, and experience in a manufacturing operation or filling/loading experience. They will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets, and a high level of attention to detail and precision.
