Software Developer in Test (SDET)

AKKO is seeking a Software Developer in Test (SDET) to automate and manually test their software products, focusing on UX and user experience. The role involves writing automated tests, maintaining and triaging failed tests, implementing CI/CD processes, and collaborating with engineers. They provide modern and seamless protection solutions to partners and their end-users.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Software or related field (advanced degrees a plus)
• 3+ years in software testing with strong grounding in functional/regression and modern test design techniques
• Hands-on experience testing web applications and mobile apps, including UX/UAT and bug verification across browsers/devices
• 2+ years focused on test automation, including designing scalable frameworks and CI integration
• Proficiency with Cypress (preferred) and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Comfortable with CI/CD (GitHub Actions/CircleCI/GitLab), Git, and basic Docker
• Strong analytical skills and fluency with SDLC/Agile
• Experience writing and maintaining automated tests (unit/integration/E2E) with a focus on reliability
• Experience with Cypress specifically (selectors, fixtures, commands, intercepts, parallelization)
