Production Operator 1

Role Overview

The Production Operator 1 at AkzoNobel will execute assigned production tasks in accordance with procedures, to ensure right levels of HSE, Quality, Service and costs. The role involves taking ownership of production assets, performing daily production tasks, and ensuring quality standards are maintained.

What You Will Do

Key responsibilities include operating production assets safely, performing daily production and maintenance tasks, reporting safety and quality issues, and contributing to Continuous Improvement activities.

Requirements

• Prior Manufacturing experience
• Prior experience working in a paint manufacturing facility
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow safety instructions and safety guidelines
• Ability to pass forklift test and obtain forklift certification
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Ability to read and apply accurate labels
• Ability to measure and weigh accurately
• Ability to lift and handle containers up to 75 lbs
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to multi-task and balance priorities
• Dedicated and committed safety leadership and presence
