
Job description
The assembly operator oversees and operates machines necessary to swage cable, to perform cable end treatments, to swage fittings, to cut or trim cable, to grind assemblies to length and to assemble cable components.
Operates lathes, welders, presses, grinders, cable cutters, swagers, packaging equipment and other equipment necessary to manufacture cable assemblies. Maintains material traceability by completing records of materials usage for each job.
Prior experience is preferred but not required. Demonstrates ability to self-motivate and to problem solve in a fast-paced setting.
