Software Engineer II - Mobile

Software Engineer II - Mobile, develop Android features for our flagship mobile application used by millions of customers. Collaborate with a team of mobile developers to build the Alarm.com Android application.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of professional Android development experience
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin
• Experience with Android Studio, Android SDK, and modern architecture patterns
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON parsing, and backend service integration
• Understanding of asynchronous programming using Coroutines and Flow
• Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
• Experience leveraging AI/ML technologies in mobile applications
