• Implements physician orders
• Administers medications
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests
• Assesses and evaluates patient needs
• Provides primary and emergency care
• Administers over-the-counter and prescription medications
• Collaborates with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care
• Directs and guides ancillary personnel
