The Capital Program Issues Advisor assists the Executive Director (ED) of Capital Infrastructure Development and Implementation (CIDI) with various responsibilities related to management of the Executive Directors Office (EDO), and the three units within the branch. The role requires an understanding of capital projects, project management, and outdoor recreation planning issues.
Requirements
- University degree in a related field
- Minimum of four years’ progressive experience in public sector Capital Program related experience, issues management, executive support, or a related function
- Strong understanding of capital projects, capital infrastructure planning and project management
- Demonstrated experience supporting senior leadership through the preparation of briefing materials, correspondence, reports, and action requests
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply legislation, policies, and corporate directives to capital program and issues‐management activities
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities, shifting deadlines, and high‐volume information flow in a fast‐paced environment
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce concise, accurate, and executive‐level documentation
