Job description
As a remote-first company, Alkami is looking for a Principal Software Engineer to build computer software systems, participate in design process, and lead architectural design patterns. The role involves owning the definition, design, development, delivery, and quality of large feature sets, subsystems, or products. The engineer will work on enterprise product features, including on-call escalations, triaging, and resolution.
Deliver highly scalable, available, and fault-tolerant production applications, help prevent and investigate production issues, build architecture design, and ensure the quality of architecture and design of systems. The engineer will also participate in code/design reviews, write clean code, identify bottlenecks, and optimize performance.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of related experience in software development, expert knowledge in performance, scalability, distributed architecture, and engineering best practices. The engineer should have strong programming skills in an object-oriented language, experience working with modern Javascript frameworks, and experience with mobile application development.
