Requirements

• Must be licensed where the HHA is located if licensure is required
• Must have graduated from an OT program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)
• Must be eligible for or have taken the OT certification examination administered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
• Two years of clinical experience as an occupational therapist
• Demonstrates good verbal and written communication, and organization skills
• Possesses and maintains current CPR Certification
• Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state or organization requirements and is in good working order
