Allegion is seeking a Lead Full Stack Software Engineer to work in Colorado or Indiana, within a global organization focused on safety, security and access management. The role will involve providing technical direction, defining coding standards, and leading the design and development of software solutions.
Requirements
- Provide technical direction and leadership to the software development team
- Define and enforce coding standards, architecture guidelines and development best practices
- Work with the Systems Engineer and Architect to lead the design and development of software solutions, ensuring scalability, performance and security
- Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Mentor and support team members in their professional growth and technical skills development
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages innovation and knowledge sharing
- Work with Platform Manager and Product Manager to plan, prioritize and manage development tasks to meet project deadlines
- Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues and propose solutions when necessary
- Analyzes, designs, develops, modifies, writes, edits and implements software programming applications
- Analyzes and defines software requirements to determine specifications and standards
- Proposes software solutions
- Determines the cost of new and modified systems and engages in the proposal process
- Develops, designs, and edits original applications or modifies third-party applications
