Procurement Specialist II (Talent Pool)

As a Procurement Specialist II, you will be responsible for operational support of procurement program teams driving value to clients through transaction and sourcing processes. The role involves developing relationships with clients and suppliers, managing customer support activities, and coordinating with management to identify and mitigate risks. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of procurement/procurement-related experience, a bachelor’s degree, and excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Operational support of procurement process
• Triage incoming requirements
• Establish or extend Statements of Work (SOW)
• Confer with suppliers
• Manage primary customer support activities
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers
• Manage client expectations
• Identify risk situations
• Collect data related to supplier performance
• Process focus
• Field questions from clients
• Maintain and update monthly activity and performance reports
• Ensure all projects are closed in the system
