Legal Counsel

We are seeking a Legal Counsel to support the development of open AI artifacts and technologies. The successful candidate will be able to work in a dynamic environment, navigate novel and complex legal issues, and build relationships across the organization.

Requirements

• JD degree
• Licensed to practice law in Washington State
• 6+ years of technology transactions experience
• Experience with copyright and IP licensing
• Experience with data governance and privacy laws
• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
• Self-starter with start-up mentality
• Ability to work with ambiguity and adjust to new strategies
• Prior experience in AI or product counseling
• Experience and/or interest in project management
