Job Description
The Alley Theatre is seeking local theatre technicians to fill Overhire crew positions. The Stage Operations Crew is responsible for prepping onstage and backstage, teching, and running the show under the supervision of the Stage Supervisor.
Requirements
- Training in safe operation of stationary and portable power tools and hand tools
- Experience working backstage on theatrical productions preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, energized and quickly changing environment
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work independently and as a team player
- Understanding of (or a commitment to learning about) historical and institutional racism in the American theatre
