
Job description
Robotics Engineers work in both office and shop floor environments, designing and building robotic automation systems, and interfacing with customers. They work closely with mechanical, electrical, and machine assembly personnel to design systems and develop robot code. The role involves leading project teams, troubleshooting systems, and meeting deadlines.
Program within budget, lead project teams, troubleshoot systems, interface with customers, meet deadlines, simulate robot paths, set-up and commission robot applications, use complex math and algorithms, improve robotic programming standards, assist with quoting and estimating, and travel to customer sites.
The ideal candidate has 5-10 years of experience, a related degree or equivalent work experience, proficiency in multiple robotic platforms, and proficiency with robotic guided vision applications.
