Senior Compliance Officer/ Assistant Vice President, Compliance Officer, Global Markets Legal & Compliance Group

Join Allied World as a Senior Compliance Officer/Assistant Vice President and take the next step in your career. This role will assist with providing compliance advice and services to support Allied World's wholesale and retail general insurance business activities.

Requirements

• Minimum six years of compliance experience in the financial services sector
• Experience with insurance and reinsurance (particularly P&C and A&H business), data protection, sanctions, anti-money laundering, and anti-bribery and corruption matters within Australia and Asia Pacific
• Experience dealing with APRA and ASIC and other regulators in Asia Pacific
• Knowledge of Australia laws and regulations and other Asia Pacific jurisdictions
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), as well as strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to consider local, regional and Group business considerations when providing compliance advice
• Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment
