Personnel Recovery Instructor

Role Overview

The Personnel Recovery Instructor will serve as an instructor and subject matter expert on personnel recovery tactics, techniques, and procedures. The position is based in Blackstone, VA at the U.S. Department of State Foreign Affairs Security Training Center (FASTC).

What You Will Do

Assist in the planning, organization, and instruction of personnel recovery tactics, techniques, and procedures. Facilitate Operations-based Exercises in support of international security programs.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Must have a high school diploma; Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. Completion of a recognized instructor development training course preferred.

Requirements

• Minimum five (5) years experience in managing and facilitating interagency Discussion and Operations Based Exercises
• Minimum five (5) years instructor experience
• Two (2) years of supervisory experience preferred
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant hard skills tactics experience
