Tech Ops Engineer (Day Shift)

AlphaPoint is hiring a Tech Ops Engineer to support system uptime and integrity of customer systems, with responsibilities including system architecture, monitoring, and maintenance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
• Expert system administrator for Debian based distributions
• Expert in computer networks, hardware, support, IT security, and tools
• Experience with multiple hosting environments (cloud, bare metal, VPS)
• Experience with various Databases and SQL (MySQL preferable)
• Experience deploying and maintaining systems in cloud based environments (AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Highly organized, self-starter and detail-oriented
• Programming and scripting skills (Python, Bash, Ansible)
• Strong and effective communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
