Mechanical Design Engineer

Alstom is hiring a Green Mobility Mechanical Design Engineer to join their Train Design Engineering team in Saint-Bruno, Quebec, Canada. The candidate will work on rolling stock renovation and overhaul projects, developing technical scopes of work, 3D models, and Bill of Materials. The position requires 5+ years of experience in Electrical/Mechanical Design Engineering or 2 years in Railway, rail car product experience.

Requirements

• BS Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in Electrical/Mechanical Design Engineering or 2 years in Railway, rail car product experience
• Knowledge of metallic materials (physical properties and design), industrial processes (welding, bending, machining)
