We are seeking a Technician to apply modifications to rolling stock types tramway or TGV circulating in France. The position is based in La Rochelle with weekly travel to France. The technician will be responsible for applying modifications following procedures, performing tests and controls as needed, and ensuring the good progress and quality of the interventions.
Requirements
- Collecting technical information, analyzing its relevance, and proposing possible adjustments based on intervention modalities
- Ensuring that all necessary means for the smooth execution of the work are available and in good working condition before the start of the work
- Deploying the application of modifications on the worksites in accordance with the method instructions
- Detecting and analyzing anomalies and reporting them formally via reviews of first assemblies
- Completing GMAO databases by reporting relevant information
- Mastery of quality reference and art rules
- Ability to pilot a team of retrofit technicians functionally (precarious or recruited)
- Supporting other members of the retrofit or SAV team
- Implementing self-control
- Ensuring the proper functioning and quality of interventions (respect of procedures, completeness and recording of PV...)
- Respecting EHS rules, prevention plan, and all processes related to modification activities
- Possibility to accompany, inform and train a newcomer
