Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant role at AltaML, a leading North American applied AI company. As a key player on the Finance Team, you'll maintain accurate financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and keep financial operations running smoothly. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Progressing towards or completion of CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) designation or equivalent certification.
• 4-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a similar role. Experience in Tech industry an asset
• Sound knowledge of Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises and/or International Financial Reporting Standards
• Strong problem solving, and analytical skills.
• Systemic thinker with a keen analytical mindset who considers the broader implications of their work.
• Must be detailed oriented with strong time management skills in order to deliver on deadlines
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and an enterprise level accounting software
