
Job description
The Injection Molding Press Technician will be responsible for implementing safety rules and policies, troubleshooting mold process problems, and ensuring production orders are running to specifications. They will also be responsible for maintaining assigned molds, machines, and auxiliary equipment, and participating in team projects and training programs.
The technician will troubleshoot quality defects, make process changes, record corrective actions, and perform machine start-ups and shutdowns. They will also participate in routine practices and team projects, and train fellow associates.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of manufacturing software and order processing systems, and be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals. They will also be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and deal with problems involving several concrete variables.
