Manufacturing Assistant

Role Overview

Join Amcor as a Manufacturing Assistant and play a vital role in supporting our production operations across Press, Extrusion, or Converting. In this hands-on position, you’ll assist operators, prepare materials, monitor equipment, and help ensure our products meet safety and quality standards. You’ll be part of a collaborative, team-driven environment focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.

What You Will Do

Assist operators with set-up, operation, and monitoring of press, extrusion, or converting equipment, prepare, load, and stage raw materials, and perform roll changes, ink changes, and material changeovers as directed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Manufacturing experience preferred but not required
• Basic math and measuring skills
• Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Benefits

• Pay range: $18.41 – $18.86/hour (based on experience)
• Night shift differential: $1.00/hour premium
• Overtime: 1.5x pay for hours over 40 per week
