Material Handler (Onsite) responsibilities include moving raw materials, WIP, and finished goods, replenishing raw materials, loading trailers, and operating equipment safely. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, ability to read and interpret documents, and physical stamina to lift and move up to 35 pounds manually.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to climb on and off forklift safely without assistance, minimum of six times per hour
- Lift and move up to 35 pounds manually
- Requires good peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to focus
- Hearing sufficient to recognize and respond to shouted warnings, alarms, and horns
- Must be willing and able to work overtime
