VP & Actuary, Life Valuation

We are seeking a Vice President, Life Valuation to lead a critical function responsible for financial reporting across a large life insurance block of business. This role will oversee reserve calculations, financial disclosures, and reporting processes, while serving as a key subject matter expert in life valuation.

Requirements

• Lead the life valuation function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
• Serve as a subject matter expert in life valuation
• Evaluate current valuation methodologies and processes
• Drive enhancements in analytics and reporting
• Oversee and monitor a large, established block of business
• Partner with finance, actuarial, and senior leadership
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to the valuation team
• Establish and implement best practices across valuation processes, controls, and reporting standards
• Lead and support transformation initiatives
