We are seeking a Food Runner to support waitstaff in carrying beverages and meal items to designated tables. The ideal candidate is a skilled, disciplined professional with a strong culinary foundation and a commitment to excellence.
Requirements
- Assist customers with their orders
- Deliver food orders to customers
- Accurately explain food orders to chefs
- Help set up tables
- Uphold food health safety and sanitation principles
- Check on customers for impromptu requests or issues
- Remove dirty dishes from the table
- Inform management of customer feedback
- Deliver food orders quickly and accurately
- Uphold sanitation and food safety principles
- Bus tables by removing dirty dishes and trash
- Check in with customers to ensure their experience is satisfactory
- Relay reports of customer satisfaction to the management and relevant parties
- Ensure patrons have all the appropriate tableware they need to properly enjoy their food
- Assist setting up tables before service with appropriate utensils, napkins and decorations
- Handle various impromptu requests from customers
