The Archives and Library Assistant supports the organization, preservation, and accessibility of materials in the archival and library collections of the WLM. This is a part-time position (approximately 15-20 hours per week).
Requirements
- High school or vocational degree required with some experience supported by on-the-job training.
- Minimum 1 year of professional training or work experience in library cataloging and knowledge of archival principles and operations.
- Familiarity with digitization, cataloging workflows, metadata standards, and the born-digital archival lifecycle.
- Experience working with a foundation or non-profit organization preferred.
- Ability to perform repetitive work and attention to detail is necessary.
- Excellent team player who fosters teamwork, personal responsibility, integrity, innovation, trust, and communication.
