The Center for Student Involvement (CSI) is the hub for the student experience at American University. This position advises and provides support for undergraduate student organizations and student leaders, including event planning, general inquiries, administrative support, and supporting dedicated RSO spaces in the Mary Graydon Student enter.
Requirements
- Advise assigned student organizations and student leaders through training, meeting attendance, and regular 1:1s.
- Support student organization and student leader policy education, including promoting awareness of the RSO Manual, administrative processes, and university policies.
- Assist with Center for Student Involvement events including but not limited to Welcome Week and Late Night and Weekend programming, graduate student engagement events, involvement fairs, retreats, trainings, and other CSI and student organization events as needed.
- Oversee the function of assigned student group spaces on the 2nd floor of Mary Graydon Student Center.
- Attend weekly CSI staff meetings.
