Forklift Technician I

Role Overview

Perform routine Forklift and other material handling equipment (MHE) repairs and preventative maintenance throughout the warehouse. Provide maintenance support as necessary to ensure operational objectives are met.

What You Will Do

Inspect and repair forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment, maintain batteries and chargers, test and evaluate equipment performance, and maintain accurate preventive maintenance records.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Able to work flexible shifts, including on call, and required to successfully complete assigned technical training and/or mechanical-electrical courses.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 1+ year of Forklift Maintenance Experience
• Specialized Forklift Maintenance/Repair training (Crown, Raymond etc)
• 2+ years of other mechanic experience in lieu of specialized Forklift experience
• Basic computer skills (email, internet searches, basic data entry, etc.)
• HAZMAT certification
