Service Centre Supervisor

Role Overview

We are seeking a Service Centre Supervisor to join our team at Beacon Barracks in Stafford, Staffordshire, West Midlands. The role involves supervising an engineering team, managing engineers' productivity and effectiveness, and contributing to the delivery of the Service Life Extension Programme (SLEP).

What You Will Do

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and assisting team members, improving communication between engineers and core business departments, and employing effective people supervisory skills to manage the engineering team.

Requirements

• Experience in construction related plant/MHE/HGV use and/or maintenance
• Good levels of people supervisory skills
• Excellent communicator
• City & Guilds, NVQ LVL 2 or 3 or equivalent in mechanical engineering
• Possess a current driving licence
• HGV Class C (Desirable)
• Previous experience of supervising in a Service Centre type environment
