Counselor I - (CMC)

Amity Foundation is seeking a Registered / Certified Substance Abuse Counselor I to support the community by delivering rehabilitative programming services in in-prison facilities. The Counselor will deliver face-to-face programming services, conduct group and individual sessions, and work with participants to develop and implement treatment/action plans.

Requirements

• Must be registered with an organization approved by DHCS and obtain AOD certification within five years of registration date
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with CDCR, DRP, CCHCS, and institution staff
