Job Description
Amity Foundation is seeking a Registered/Certified Substance Abuse Counselor I to deliver face-to-face rehabilitative programming services in prison facilities. The successful candidate will support the community by delivering treatment programming services and conducting group and individual sessions.
Requirements
- Less than one (1) years of experience providing SUDT services as a certified AOD Counselor
- Current AOD Certification with organization recognized by the DHCS OR Registration with BBS or AOD Certifying body, depending on education level
- Understanding of causes, symptoms, and effects of substance abuse
- Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills
- Operational knowledge of MS Office Suite and ARMS (preferred)
