Buyer/Planner

Role Overview

The Buyer/Planner provides day-to-day tactical support for purchasing and production planning activities to ensure material availability and smooth production execution. This role ensures that materials, components, and finished goods are handled efficiently, accurately, and safely to support production schedules and customer delivery requirements.

What You Will Do

Create, release, and maintain purchase orders, track supplier order acknowledgements, delivery dates, and open order status, follow up with suppliers on late, short, or incorrect deliveries, and maintain accurate purchasing data in the ERP/MRP system.

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing, supply chain, or materials role
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
