Materials Supervisor

Avancez Assembly is looking for a Materials Supervisor to monitor and support production and procurement of raw materials. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in Business, Materials Management or Supply Chain Mgt/Logistics.

Requirements

• Manage and support shipping/receiving team
• Develop and maintain material and inventory control systems
• Manage accurate inventory records for all parts in QAD system
• Manage inventory to optimize consumption and minimize excess/obsolescence for new products and end-of-life items
• Identify, assess and communicate program issues/exceptions, and propose solutions
• Operates hi-lo to load, unload, and move materials
• Implementation and support of 5S processes in the shop
• Follow safe practices
• All other duties as assigned
