Cloud Network Engineer - Associate

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Cloud Network Engineer with deep expertise in designing, implementing, and managing complex network architectures across hybrid and multicloud environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud migrations, network security, and cyber security, particularly within the U.S. Federal sector, including FISMA Moderate and High systems.

What You Will Do

Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performance network architectures across hybrid cloud environments. Lead network integration and migration efforts from on-premises to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Ensure compliance with federal security standards including FISMA, FedRAMP, and NIST guidelines.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering with a focus on cloud and hybrid infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with AWS networking services (VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, etc.)
• Experience with Azure and/or GCP networking components is a plus
• Strong understanding of routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, and network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF)
• Proficiency in network security practices and tools (IDS/IPS, firewalls, VPNs)
• Experience working with federal agencies and securing FISMA Moderate/High systems
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
