Credit Analyst (Sydney/Melbourne/Brisbane or Perth)

The Credit Analyst role involves evaluating the financial background and creditworthiness of applicants for auto loans or lease financing, using financial data and credit reports to make informed decisions and recommendations on loan approvals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field (preferred)
• Prior credit underwriting experience (essential)
• Experience in consumer and commercial lending (preferred)
• Auto finance industry experience (highly regarded)
• Strong understanding of financial statements, credit reports, and risk assessment tools
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills for liaising with clients and internal teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modelling, and other analytical tools
