Director of Government Affairs

Animals Asia is seeking a Director of Government Affairs to lead government engagement, policy influence, and external positioning at a national level in Vietnam. The role involves shaping government relations strategies, building high-level relationships, and influencing policy and legislation. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of senior experience in government relations, public policy, or external affairs in Vietnam, and a deep understanding of Vietnam's government structures and decision-making processes.

• High level of professionalism and discretion
• Experience influencing policy, legislation, or regulatory frameworks
• Experience leading teams or functions
• Native Vietnamese and strong English (written and spoken)
• Advanced degree in public policy, law, international relations, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
