Vice President, Ophthalmology Medical Affairs

Annexon Biosciences is seeking a Vice President, Ophthalmology Medical Affairs to represent the company with external thought leaders and drive Global Medical Affairs activities in complement-mediated diseases in Ophthalmology. The role involves providing medical and scientific expertise, leading Medical Affairs functions, and establishing market access strategies.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (MD, PhD, or PharmD)
• 15+ years Medical Affairs experience within the biopharma industry
• Prior experience in product launch or launches in ophthalmology
• Skilled at engagement and scientific exchange with the external medical community
• Proven ability to lead, manage, and motivate others
• Experience in global/regional/local medical practice and healthcare ecosystems
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices (GCP), region regulations and guidelines, and applicable international regulatory requirements
