Machine Operator - 1st Shift

The 1st Shift Machine Operator will be responsible for the manufacturing of water heater components per department standards, following quality and safety standards, and using measurement tools and work instructions to meet daily production needs and customer requirements.

Requirements

• Performing quality checks for any leakage and ensuring resistance, automated welds and angle cuts meets product specifications
• Measuring product quantities using measurement instruments including calipers, scales, micrometers, angle finders, and resistance checker
• Monitoring the performance of equipment, gauges, and charts in department area
• Following work instructions when performing machine changeovers as necessary
• Moving and pulling finished goods to appropriate designated areas using a pallet jack
• Performing general housekeeping to ensure work area is kept clean and organized
• Complying with all safety guidelines and protocols to create a safe working environment
• Assisting and training new team members on the operation process and equipment usage
