Job Description
Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Norfolk, VA, is seeking a full-time Music Director to lead its vibrant music ministry. The position involves planning and directing music for all parish liturgies, leading and accompanying choirs and congregation, and overseeing and developing music ensembles.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in music or related field (preferred)
- Proficient organist with strong improvisation skills
- 5-10 years of experience in Catholic music ministry
- Knowledge of Catholic liturgy and sacred music traditions
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
