Safety Coordinator

Role Overview

Maintain AP's safety program to ensure a safe environment for all team members. Champion the Incident and Injury Free (IIF) culture and senior managements' commitment to IIF. Provide safety trainings and communicate safety issues.

What You Will Do

Take personal responsibility for working safely, collaborate with team members to implement and maintain the project site specific safety program, and present site specific training topics.

Why It Might Be a Fit

2-4 years of experience in a construction safety role, OSHA 30 and/or OSHA 510 certification, and ability to travel.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in a construction safety role
• OSHA 30 and/or OSHA 510 certification
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification
• STS-C (Safety Trained Supervisor - Construction) Certificate or ability to obtain within first 6 months of employment
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
• Experience conducting safety trainings
