Safety Manager

Role Overview

The Safety Manager will manage AP's safety program to ensure a safe environment for all employees. This position may be responsible for a region's safety program or be assigned specifically to designated projects.

What You Will Do

Manage the safety program on assigned projects, conduct safety training, provide safety and health training to management and supervisory personnel, and monitor the safety program on assigned projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Safety, Safety Management, or related field
• 6-8 years of directly related experience in field and office safety and health program management
• Experience working through inspections and audits with state and local government agencies
• Knowledge of state and federal safety laws and regulations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• OSHA 500 Trainer Card for the construction industry
• Ability to travel
