Apex Fintech Solutions is seeking a Manager, Data Engineering to lead the Data Lake team and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge data solutions.
Requirements
- Deep technical proficiency in cloud-based systems (GCP preferred), including BigQuery, Snowflake, Cloud Storage, and experience building scalable data lake architectures and microservices
- Strong understanding of fault-tolerant system design, high-availability services, and real-time data ingestion patterns to support high-throughput processing requirements
- Solid grasp of DevOps principles with hands-on experience in CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and infrastructure as code for data platform operations
- Understanding of security best practices for data systems, API design, and infrastructure within regulated environments, with knowledge of compliance requirements in financial services highly desired
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills with ability to navigate technical complexities, manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, and maintain attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences and build strong collaborative relationships across global teams
