
Job description
The Systems Engineer will improve the architectural design and equipment of the Shared Early Warning System (SEWS) to provide enhanced mission capabilities. The SEWS program tests various upgrades and integration with radar systems to support an IP-based architecture. The Systems Engineer will work with the SEWS Program Office to ensure the highest levels of availability, performance, and security for SEW data delivery.
Provide technical expertise in architecture, network engineering, and opportunity management. Support the definition, planning, and organization of engineering efforts across executing SEWS Task Orders. Assess and manage resources in projects and project activities for Space Systems Command SEWS Program Office.
This position requires 10 or more years of experience in Missile Warning/Command and Control Systems. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree and 5 or more years of experience in Missile Warning/Command and Control Systems, or a Master of Science in Engineering with 2 or more years of experience.
