Job description
Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for a Modernization Systems Engineer for the Engineering, Professional, and Administrative Support Services (EPASS) Contract based out of Peterson SFB, in Colorado Springs, CO, supporting the Ground-Based Radar Digitization (GBRD) program. This is a full-time position located at Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts.
Provide systems engineering oversight across the entire technical baseline, review and assess contractor-developed system and subsystem requirements, oversee and assess contractor-led engineering trade studies, manage and provide oversight of the requirements verification process, and evaluate the overall system architecture.
15+ years of experience in systems engineering on complex defense or aerospace programs, demonstrated leadership experience on an ACAT I/II Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP), and expertise in requirements management, verification and validation, and Test & Evaluation (T&E) in a DoD environment.
