As an Americas Logistics Operations - DC Operations role, you will be leading efforts to improve processes and technology within distribution centers (DC's) at third-party logistics (3PL) sites. You will focus on optimizing resource use, designing layouts, validating automation, and driving data-driven process improvements. The role involves benchmarking metrics across regions, working with 3PL partners, and implementing lean principles to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering
- Two years of experience in the job offered or related occupations
- Experience with predetermined time standards such as MODAPTS, MOST or MTM
- Experience with Design for Logistics operations including assembly/manufacturing
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing
- Exposure to ergonomic validations
- Ability to run basic models in discrete event simulation softwares (FlexSIM and PlantSIM)
- Calculating production costs and metrics that include time, labor, space, equipment and overhead
- Maintaining product process flow, layout and parameters
- Implementing lean principles to various factory related processes
- Good interpersonal, teamwork, presentation, and communication skills
- Strong project management skills
- Deep understanding of supply chain, logistics, and eCommerce operations
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt, and problem-solve
- Ability to prioritize strategic objectives
- Analytical mindset and ability to use data effectively
- Phenomenal presentation skills with a keen eye for detail
