Product Quality & Reliability Engineer (III)

Applied Materials is a global leader in materials engineering solutions. The company is seeking a Product Quality & Reliability Engineer (III) to lead quality and reliability activities throughout the product lifecycle. The successful candidate will apply, define, revise, and maintain requirements on parts/products against quality and reliability standards, and drive Q&R engagement in product development.

Requirements

• Apply, define, revise, and maintain requirements on parts/products against the quality and reliability standards, test methods, and acceptance criteria aligned with customer expectations and industry best practices.
• Drive Q&R engagement in product development, ensuring early identification and mitigation of reliability and quality risks.
• Perform FMECA. Develop and execute quality and reliability test plans, including environmental, mechanical, electrical, and operational stress testing - document CRAMS and partner with design engineering and suppliers.
• Analyze large datasets from field performance, operational metrics, and qualification testing to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
