We are seeking a Senior Workplace Design Manager to drive project design solutions that are locally relevant and align with Applied Materials Global Workplace Design Guidelines. The ideal candidate will have experience in the technology industry and a proven track record of delivering impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or interior design or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience within an architectural practice and/or design management in a corporation, preferably managing the design process for mid to large scale projects.
- 5+ years of experience in a project management capacity.
- Experience in the technology industry or similarly technically complex industry.
- Experience with a wide range of project types across the entire project lifecycle (Entitlement, Planning, Design and Construction).
- Strong presentation skills with an ability to communicate with and effectively influence senior leaders.
- Passion to challenge the status quo in pursuit of material performance improvement.
- Experience selecting, engaging, and managing design and construction-related service providers.
- Experience managing virtual teams.
- Preferred experience delivering projects in multiple geographies.
- Experience managing, strategic, large scale, and complex projects with a proven track record of delivering impact.
