
Job description
The Commodity Manager is responsible for managing and directing all procurement activities related to a set of goods or services purchased transversally across several P&L / Product Lines / Units within Steam Power. They promote a culture based on the values and integrity of Arabelle Solutions, pursuing the objective of optimizing Arabelle Solutions and developing a first-class supplier base responding to strategic and operational needs.
Define the commodity strategy, target supplier panel and action plan, Conduct continuous market monitoring, Support the introduction of new products/programs, Lead the qualification of all suppliers in the panel, Manage and develop the target supplier panel, Define a contractual plan and ensure its implementation, Pilot the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) program, Lead the supplier competitiveness programs.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, minimum 5 years of professional experience in Purchasing, including strategic procurement or key commodity purchasing, Recognized experience with an associated commodity, Sensitivity to nuclear safety culture, and experience in procurement in low-cost countries and development of a global supply base.
