Job description
The Mechanical Fitter travels to Power Plants in the UK and worldwide to support customers with installation, maintenance, and repair of power units and their auxiliaries. The role requires technical competence in reading engineering documents and interpreting technical instructions.
Follow policies and procedures, provide technical support, evaluate customer equipment issues, and maintain communication with customers. Perform tasks such as installation, preventative/corrective maintenance, and repairs.
The role requires a strong understanding of mechanical engineering, experience with large rotating and static machinery, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and safety.
