
Job description
The Supplier Quality Engineer ensures appropriate controls are implemented by suppliers on purchased products, all along procurement, manufacturing and packing. This role involves working with suppliers to clarify quality requirements, training them on company tools and processes, and conducting inspections to ensure product conformity to contractual and regulatory requirements.
The Supplier Quality Engineer will perform inspections at suppliers' premises, issue inspection reports, analyze and validate inspection reports, lead or support the resolution of non-conformities, and conduct root cause analyses.
This role requires a degree in Mechanical Engineering, auditor certification, and experience in supplier quality, manufacturing, or project quality. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a project environment.
