Director, Product Development

As Director, Product Development, you will oversee product development execution for new styles at the Tokyo Creation Centre, leading technical teams to ensure quality, fit, and performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to realize ideas into commercialized successes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Apparel or Textile Design, Technology, Merchandising, or Engineering
• 10+ years' experience in design, development, or production environment
• 8+ years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of raw materials, technical construction, and sourcing/costing
• Experience communicating with and traveling to domestic and offshore vendors and manufacturers
• Ability to travel to Hong Kong, Vancouver, and factories throughout Asia
• Complete understanding of the product lifecycle process from ideation to consumer
• Strong knowledge of Arc'teryx products and apparel processes
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
